specializing in the water/wastewater utility
industry. We are the North American subsidiary of
an international, 430-staff corporation. One
year ago, when I set about to plan whether to move
out of our offices in Huntingdon Valley, PA, I
called Ed Kozlowski. My predecessor had told me
that, not only would Ed help us to find alternative
locations, but our relationship with him would also
send shivers down the spine of our existing
landlord. After several months of putting up with
our demanding ways and long periods of awaiting
feedback from our management in the UK, Ed came

required to get things accomplished. He coached us
on when to reel out some line when we needed to
hand-hold a prospective landlord, then he helped us
to pull hard when we felt we had one on the hook. I
